Loader What Goes Up Doesn't Necessarily Go Down!

Hello Robin, THANK YOU for your post. What I did was literally call Kioti and asked "What type of hydraulic oil can be used in my CK30H. I was told "Any synthetic hydraulic oil". I took my manual to a local NAPA store and asked them if they could cross reference the list to some of their oil...

    Hydraulic fluid

I had a heck of a time when I changed all fluids and filters at 500 hours. The local Kioti dealer told me NOT to use the Traveler synthetic hydraulic fluid from Tractor Supply as it would ruin all the seals. And Yes... the Kioti from that dealer was over twice the price. So I called Kioti and...

My Steering Wheel does not stay centered

Yep, the guys are correct. Your Bobcat is manufactured by Kioti. I have a CK30HST and is exactly what mine does. When I first got my tractor I noticed the Kioti steering center cap was off center, so I twisted it around to be aligned. (yes, I am very picky about things like that). Lo and...

Tire Chains for Traction on Turf Tires - Areas Beyond Snow?

I just bought another tractor... a 2003 Kubota B7500 w/ 60" front snow blower, a 60" belly mower and a good size grass/leaf pickup bagger. It has turf tires on it. It has been VERY well taken care of I might add. However, the prior owner just told me the rear tires were filled with windshield...

Loader What Goes Up Doesn't Necessarily Go Down!

An update on my Front Wheels not lifting off the ground... I rebuilt the boom cylinders with brand new cylinder kits. At first it seemed to work. Lifting is NO problem. Curling the bucket, putting it on the ground to lift the front wheels up... well, that is STILL the problem. It has raised...

    Question about using a stabilizer?

Before! When I take all of my gas cans to be filled I "always" put 1 ounce in each one. Then when I fill them up at the station it mixes the Sta-bil in. That way I never have to worry whether I put it in or not. Never had any problems with storage. As for my diesel... I "pre-add" an...

What spray lube do you like?

I have to agree... Fluid Film for lubrication and WD40 for a multiple of uses ie: key switch lube, rust removal, glue removal, etc. Somewhere out there there's a list of 101 things to do with WD40. But fluid film has been the best for general lubrication to date!

    Checking Hydralic Levels?

David54 asked: Main question is does the hyd fluid have to be hot? Great question. I have several pieces of equipment... 30HP 4WD tractor, 25HP 52 inch cut Zero Turn, 18HP 42 inch cut Rider, push mower and more. NONE of those books state weather you check your motor oil or hydraulic oil...

    Radiator hose "snapped"

Just wondering if that JB Weld epoxy for plastic is called "JB Plastic Welder"? They make so many variants. I ask purely for other projects. I know times are getting tighter EVERY DAY as of late but $1,000... REALLY? I tend to agree with most about checking with a radiator shop, then a...

Comparison The Bitterness of Poor Quality Remains Long After the Sweetness of Low Price is Forgotten

There's not enough of them... In my case the largest one is over an hour away, is supposed to be a 5 star dealer but basically rips people off. It's NOT just me either.

Comparison The Bitterness of Poor Quality Remains Long After the Sweetness of Low Price is Forgotten

I purchased my first tractor 15 years ago... a Kioti CK30HST. It has been a fantastic and reliable tractor. I've done things with it I would have never imagined. At one point I went to a JD dealership, nosing around. Got a quote for about 5 more horsepower w/cab and mid PTO. I realize the...

1725 takes a while to start

I have a 15 year old Kioti which is kept inside when not in use. My original Interstate battery lasted 14 years. I noticed over time it took longer to start... but in the end it just wouldn't. Put a new battery in it (same exact make/model) and it starts almost IMMEDIATELY... less than one...

    What would you do ?

Well, I have hated New England (from KY originally and lived all over)... but at this point NE is looking pretty good. It's running around 75 these days. BUT... I'll take your area in the winter. When I lived on the MX border of AZ the workers started VERY early in the morning and quit at...

    kioti starting problems

I read this whole thread in hopes I could find a possible hint of what my CK30HST is doing. No Luck. My tractor seems to work 100% but then randomly I will turn the key and get "the click". This is after the glow plug finishes, I wait a few seconds and turn the key. Sometimes it starts...

    Newbie looking to buy

I have to totally agree! I have a 2007 Kioti CK30HST which has become my BEST FRIEND! I paid $27K when new. I know... 15 years ago. My only issue is there is now no "Local" dealer. The closest now is about an hour from me and only open 4 days a week. I thought about changing brands due to...

    Seafoam for real?

I just purchased some Seafoam. Never used it but hear good things. I have 2 stroke weed wackers and a tiller, diesel tractor and gas 3 mowers. Is this stuff good in ALL of the equipment? Should it be used only in the event of "issues", added to the fuel for maintenance or both? I have been...

    Zerks and tears

Hello VroomVroom and all... I feel your pain. I have fought this for years until I bought three things: 1) A LockNLube end for my grease gun (short version about $30). Holds up to 10,000 lbs of pressure and will NOT come off. Easy on, Easy off. Puts grease where I was NEVER able to get it...

    Questions about snow removal.

Well, I live in North Central Massachusetts and have used them all. The front bucket is slow like others said and you have to dump often if you have a lot of snow to move. The back blade works just OK but we get a lot of snow and pulling it just doesn't work I spin the blade around and push...

Top Dressing Driveway - Gravel or Crushed Concrete

If you are asking about the Land Leveler at Everything Attachments... here's the link: https://www.(Temporarily blocked due to reports of company closure)/Land-Leveler-Land-Plane-Utility-Grader-p/eta-land-leveler-v2.htm What I thought was a pretty good idea was their cutting edges which are angled at 10 degrees rather than...

Top Dressing Driveway - Gravel or Crushed Concrete

I have about a half mile between my driveway and the road to my barn. I've put 3/4 inch trap on it for years to get a good base. I have tried a box scraper as well as a rake and neither does the job i want. The box scraper takes to much and the rake seems to go out to the sides. I have...

    Welding brackets on tractor frame

If I were you Buggs67 I would disconnect BOTH. I had a JD 850 LGP Dozer. One of the track rollers broke. My operator called and had it welded. Of course he must have been a rookie and didn't disconnect the battery. You can disconnect just the ground but I'd disconnected BOTH. Better safe...

Loader  What Goes Up Doesn't Necessarily Go Down!

Hello to all, I have a 2007 CK30HST with a KL130 FEL. When I first got the tractor I could rotate the bucket downward and bite into the dirt to stabilize the tractor when using the backhoe. At this point it lifts loads just fine. However, now it barely lifts the front end when biting into...
