I have two tractors, one hydro and one power shift with a reverser. I use the hydrostatic tractor for about everything except if I'm using a ground engaging implement like a disc or plow. My place is on a hill, so yes, if driving in high range with the hydro tractor, it'll be a bit sluggish.

The only difference between the two is cost and color. Use either one.

I believe flight radar just tracks location of aircraft based on their transponders. I wouldn’t think missiles emit the same type of data that is accessible to the general public.

My only fear is what happens if you are in an accident. If you need a CDL or trip permit, and don’t have it, wouldn’t the insurance companies potentially deny coverage?

When I bought a Kubota backhoe, I needed a specific subframe that was only for my model of tractor and backhoe.

Our family owns millions of dollars worth of equipment and diesel pickups. Never put anything in the tank other than diesel. Zero fuel related issues here. If we were in a cold part of the world, I would add anti gelling products.

As I get older, I seem to have less tolerance when it comes to “dirty” air. The truth is, it’s much more pleasant running tier 4 (and 5) equipment. With 1,000s of hours under my belt running said equipment, I’ve never had a single emissions related failure. 2023 Cummins tier 5

D4D dozers are great little machines, but I don't recommend them for stump removal or heavy land clearing. You'll most likely be frustrated when trying to get the bigger stumps out of the ground. An excavator is much more efficient for this particular task.

I check oil on things that leak quite often, but sadly don’t take the time to check things that don’t. For example, the front axle oil in my tractors. If it doesn’t leak, I rarely pull the plug until it’s time to do the service.

I have a larger 5 series tractor (5100M) and a 4052R. For what you describe, I would buy the 4 series. If you had a lot of heavy ground tillage projects or wanted a haying tractor, the 5 series would be my choice.

I run an MX6 behind my 4052R. It is my belief that this mower is too heavy for a 3 series machine. It makes my tractor very light in the front. I don’t have any flat ground, so my experience might be different than others.

Engine oil used in the wrong sump on a tractor won’t hurt a thing.

My recommendation is to check the fuel system out. Bad injectors and/or worn injection pumps can cause the issues you are describing.

A pin/bolt shackle sized to fit your draw bar hole, and a 1/2 diameter logging choker is a great combination for this. The choker will tighten up and not slip off your brush.

I’m also infected by the bug. Started with a lawn tractor. 15 years later and about half a dozen trade ins, I now have what I want. I will say, I never lost much $ on any of the Kubota’s I’ve had. Made trading up pretty easy.

I also bought a Kubota a month after buying our property. The property was neglected for 30 years so it is/was a mess. My mini is a 6 ton machine and while a little small for stumps, a guy can do a lot of work with one this size. I have 400hrs on the clock and can't imagine life without it.

I like the 4.5L Deere. Many applications (tractors, generators, marine, construction) which means parts are everywhere, and they are easy to work on. I just did an inframe rebuild on my dozer and with 6700hrs the internals looked and measured great.

Yes, you can add weights to cast centers, at least we did to our M125X. I bought 3 sets that were all going to be put on my M7040 but I didn’t like how the 3rd one stuck out past the rim. I went ahead and put that set on my M125X w cast wheels.
