I have 2" spacers on my MT225S...brining it to 52 inches. I do have a hydrostatic trans....Other concern is pick up weight on my 3 point.

Have my LSmt225s and a kabota bx with snow blower. I'm thinking about getting rid of the bx to get a 3 point snow blower for the LS.

I had similar issue....only in winter....found that if my pto lever moved 1/4 of inch...tractor would not start...found out my jacket would move the lever so slightly, just enough to disengage. Bought a new jacket....if it still happens i will bungee that sucker. :)

Does anyone know about a new front mounted snow blower for the MT225S ? Beneficial or should I go with a 3 pt. PTO type ??

Taking it off is easy pezy....hooking back up is time consuming but not unbearable...15min at most.

F that.....I live 2 hrs away from my nearest dealer. I have to rent a trailer from 45 min away for a one day rental.....they can send it to me.

Both my Tail lights are now blinking only the RED LEDS....in the same area on both taillights....HUMMMMMM...Ground issue.....NOT. Turn signal and white LEDS are fine. Dealer needs to replace my lights.

Just got started cleaning my lots after our big fire (Dixie Fire)up here in nor-cal....usually clean lots 6 times a year. 5 to 6 dump loads of branches and pine / fir needles. No burning here. Green waist for us. After a million acres burnt.....little gun shy.

This is the same one I had the dealer install when purchased new....I wanted the blade for bucket stability and not to wear down the bucket edge. 54" bucket on the MT225S. Blade is two sided.

YES....I ordered a cutting blade for my MT225S. Needed it to reenforce the bucket blade....I heard the bucket will bend. The blade is two sided, so when one blade gets dull, just rotate and a new sharp blade is ready....Yes it sharp and strong.

So this morning it was 9 or 11 degrees...depends on whose phone ur looking at....I have been cycling the glow plugs by turning the key to the Left 3 times....then to the Right, waiting for the GP light to go off each time....and she fires right up. So for the 225S drivers out there....try that...

My MT225S does the EXACT same thing....Absolutely gutless on cold starts. Does not matter what the key position is in. GP light is on for a second...thats it.

Removed the backhoe and covered it for the impending 5ft. of snow expected this weekend.

Bobrown....I agree on the 'float" function if I was plowing....however I have to move snow with the bucket loader. FYI the little lever LOCKS the FEL stick from moving....be careful. If you want to get 'ice' off ur driveway....nothing better than the cutting blade on the from bucket....again...

So another question is its ok.... 3 point attachment is on now.....isnt the down lever suppose to apply pressure going down or just gravity fed ? I have lift pressure but not downward pressure.

So we are coming into snow season and I will be loading snow and moving it to an empty lot across the street....I have taken off my backhoe for the winter, my MT225s has loaded tires from dealer, so do I need to add real ballast ?

My dealer got the entire valve in las week....he three dated it....now just waiting for the dealer to come and pick up the tractor.

WOW.....My 2021 MT225S blew 2 o-rings at the TOP of the same valve ( dealer said the nuts were not lock-tighter down)....$500 bucks to send it to the dealer who "fixed" it. However...just last week it blew AGAIN. Now the dealer is going to replace the entire valve. I seem to think it has to do...

Paid $250 for mine from dealer in CA. I like it...use it allot...no issues so far with the thumb.

Installed 2" Bora Wheel Spacers. Needed clearance for snow chains.

Can we get pics of the 3rd function valves and the lever please....I am thinking of have my dealer add a 3rd function kit. Also what is the weight of the grapple ?

Blew the valve in the FEL....grabbed a bucket of base....fanned it out gong in reverse....rolled forward after empty...put a 45 degree angle on the blade...put the loader into float and floated in reverse....looked up and my dash was covered with fluid....the controller valve where the stick...

I have many years driving gear vehicles...10 years driving tractors with HST. My environment (tight turns, hilly, tons of trees ) I live in and do tractor work...HST is a great option.

So....now ?? Steel or Aluminum spacers?? Opinions? I'm getting the 2" Steel or Aluminum just enough to clear the chains.

My dealer has not answered me on part number for wheel spacers....I asked a while back because of chains rubbing.

My tires are loaded also.....still tippy. I am Extremely happy with my choice...MT225S. It's perfect for what I need in a tractor.

When you move the seat up....make sure you push the pin back in to LOCK the seat in the higher position ...or it will flop down when you sit back down on it....unless u prefer to low ride.

I have the same feelings on mine....however I found it to be a small issue over the ret of the great performance I am getting. Only other issue is the tipsiness of the tractor. But I live in the mountains...so nowhere is flat...just have to be careful.

So looked at the EA wicked 55....wow...not low cost for sure. I need to take the tractor back to dealer and have them install the third function...then I'll take another look at it. I wish the bottom tines were a little longer. Reviews seem to be good.

Holy crap. I move the main pin to the center of the thumb to get that triangle config for strength....seems to work.

I agree on the tippy thing..."slight" incline going sideways ran over a buryed bolder, maybe 3" above ground I almost bailed out....thought it was going over....nothing in bucket, low gear. Pooped a little.

Avenger...My new MT225S FEL is not level....the left side i approx. 1" higher than the right side when on the ground. I expect this is NOT normal....pretty light duty so far, just moving snow, some boulders moved, mostly backhoe work. Looking at the front loader brackets...nothing stands out...

My seat is great....I fit very nice in my tractor ( 6'2" / 230 lbs )...only gripe would be when not in backhoe position, I wish it had more elevation selection. When the seat is in backhoe position...it's a little tight getting in and out of the platform.

So, I figured it out....no grinding tabs. Pulled pin #5, moved the sleeve up to the middle of the thumb #3 to the holes and reinserted the pin #5.....now the thumb is adjustable up or down....and it forms a triangle for better strength. I am pretty sure that the reason they mounted it was for...

Good question. In the instruction manual for the LB1300 it shows the schematic of the "optional" thumb, part number IMBH90....it shows the tabs at the bottom of the sleeve part #2. Pin #5 sets the tube where the tabs are into the base of #3. when seated, the tabs bind...& don't allow the sleeve...

Called the dealer and sent them pics....the tabs at the bottom need to be ground 1/4 inch to clear the bottom of the adjustment 'sleeve' as it were. Dealer said they would do it...but I advised I could take on that project...installation of thumb by dealer was correct. Just forgot to ground...

The mechanical thumb appears not to be adjustable the way it was installed....take the adjustment pin out and it only drops down 2 inches from folded up position. There are three holes for further adjustment but two tabs at the bottom are prohibiting the thumb to fold out any farther. Any...
