    B2786 Drift Cutters

I haven't posted in such a long time, but figured this would a good time to re-connect. I picked up a set of Kubota B2786 drift cutters for my B2781A 51" front snowblower and just installed them. I'm hoping they help steer more snow into the augers for fewer clean-up runs. Installation was...

B2620 hydraulic dust plugs and caps

Hello TBN- Can anybody tell me what size dust plugs and caps I need to replace the broken ones on my B-series hydraulic hoses? More specifically the ones that connect to the front snowblower and quick hitch subframe. Thanks much!

Why did they put the loader valve lever lock there!?

I accidentally locked it with my foot when backing up and the panic set in quick when the joystick froze. UGH. All better now.

    Rubber step mat on B2620

Is it just me or is the rubber step mat horrible quality? The nipples that keep it secured to the floor of the tractor have crumbled and now it just kind of lays on there poorly. 60 bucks for a replacement also.

    Snow  Snowblower maintenance

I thought I would give my front snowblower some extra attention today in preparation for the season. The manual doesn't tell you exactly where the zerks are, but I think I hunted them all down successfully. There are 2 zerks on the auger shafts and one on each end with little plastic caps on...

Oil & Fuel  B2620 Oil Change... ugh!

Dear Kubota: Why did you put the loader brace over my drain plug? I had to remove the MMM and the brace to do a simple job. :confused2:

Loader  Trouble installing FEL on B2620

All of the sudden, I'm having great difficult installing the loader on my tractor. I have never had a problem before, and the loader has had very limited, and non-abusive use since I got it ~2008. I pull into the loader until it makes contact with both loader mounts on the tractor. As I am...

    B2620 vs Blizzard of 2010

Here's an action shot of this morning's seat time. I cleared about 8" out last night and woke up to this. This snow is incredibly heavy and wet and I had to bring up the RPMs, engage the 4wd, and go slower than usual but got the job done.

    B2620 antifreeze leak

It's 15 degrees here today. I started my B2620 and it made a strange sound at first but started and ran normally. A few seconds later I see a small amount of antifreeze on the garage floor on both sides of the tractor. I killed the engine, popped the hood and noticed the source of the leak...

Which series has more problems: B or BX?

There is intense debate about the B vs BX on these forums. As a follow on topic, which of these series is more dependable, needs less repairs, and has fewer design flaws?

50 hour service - dealer cost?

Anybody have a figure on this? I asked my dealer and want to see if it's really that bad elsewhere :) Thanks in advance.

    Loader hydraulic hose support?

I reinstalled my loader today and noticed that the hanger for the hydraulic lines didn't survive the Winter. I followed the manual direction on hanging the hoses on the hook, but this thing is a piece of junk. Having said that, I'd like to get another one. Does anybody know what it's called...

Tiller  3 pt tillers are not cheap!

I'm not surprised at what things cost these days, but good quality 48-60" tillers are steep! I thought with the new tractor I could retire the earthquake walk-behind for the food plots. Maybe next year... Or the year after that... :(

Oil & Fuel  Diesel is clouded again!!

I give up. I switched from Power Service to Howe's and it made little difference. There is gelling on the filter element and the fuel I can see in the sediment bowl is cloudy. We're hovering around zero here, and I don't have heat in the barn (yet). This is road diesel. Maybe I got a crappy...

In search of a single tooth ripper

I'm looking for something along the lines of a Rankin ER-25 or Gearmore GR100 single tooth ripper. I like the idea of the adjustable length and shear bolt design. I'm in central NY. I haven't got any responses from the mfr's asking for my nearest dealer. Thanks!

    Drawbar question

Hello- My old utility cart, lawn roller, etc. do not fit on the thick drawbar on the B2620. Is there a simple way to solve this or should I just rig up something? Thanks if you can advise.

    BX2360 sighting

Maybe this is not news but.. I was in Baltimore on Thursday and saw two crated BX2360's on a flatbed transport. EtW

    Warning labels

My new tractor is adorned with a plentiful bounty of warning stickers and labels. They are even reprinted in the manual as well. This may be a ridiculous question, but does anybody remove these things?

    The B2620 has landed!

Today was the much anticipated day... the arrival of my B2620. I got the loader, 60" MMM and the ballast box. The snowblower is on order from Kubota. I ordered the bar/turf combo tires but they are not in yet so the dealer put turfs on and is going to swap next week. Compared to my old...

    New B2620 on the way!

After years of reading these forums and struggling to get by with my 2WD G series, I finally bought a real tractor. I live on 10 acres of hilltop in central NY and the Winter here can be brutal with drifting snow filling in my 225' driveway. We have wind break trees planted, but they're not...

Price Check  Argh! Price increases on B-series!

Kubota's price configuration system is available once again. It must have been offline for pricing adjustments because B-series base prices and attachments are all higher now. The equipped B2620 I was looking at is going to cost me $1600 more than the quote I put together on 21 June. The...

HELP: G2460 starts to stall when hitting bumps

I hope to soon own a compact utility tractor, but for now I have this 3 cyl 24hp Kubota G2460 that has served me well. The problem I'm having right now is that it starts to stall/sputter when bouncing over rough terrain. I have to stop and let it recover and I can smell gas during these...
