Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Maybe it's been mentioned but I recently got a Diamondback tile saw which was about, what 350 or so? It works great. Dunno if it'll last a long time or what but it saved me thousands on a recent bathroom project so even if it fails tomorrow it was still a good buy

    Loader hydraulic line--need quick help

You can get premade hydraulic line at surpluscenter.com Also, you might want to get into the Parker online catalog. I use it to look up part numbers, then google that and I often find the parts online cheap. Having a few extra hydraulic fittings on hand can save your weekend.

Looking for 2003 dk45 front end 4wd parts

Boy, I've been in there a few times! I never used any sealant, just the o-rings are plenty. I also find that pulling the top cap off one of the swivel housings is the easiest way to fill the axle with oil, rather than slopping it all over using the filler hole.

Tires Is rear tire width adjustable?

Did you get the owner's manual when you purchased it? I dunno about the model you have but in my manual they tell you all the width configurations which sometimes involve switching the wheel inside for outside.

Anybody here have much experience with either 3 point or tow backhoe?

If you have a small job, then renting an actual mini excavator is best. Only thing is, you have to have the stars align so that weather and other distractions don't blow your schedule. I bought my tractor with a backhoe not because I was looking for that particular feature, but because it was...

    JD Z525E zero turn mower

Hm OK I have the big JD zero turn. Don't know about the 5 series. I'd be caught pulling that thing apart and seeing what's up. Probably something simple like an o-ring. Hydraulics tend to be quite simple.

Kioti LB 1914 running really rich

It's not turbocharged is it? I don't think it is. You shouldn't have any smoke when it's running. Black smoke on diesels means incomplete burn which can be timing, or over fueling or something with compression. One of those things is keeping the diesel/air mist from burning all the way. You have...

    JD Z525E zero turn mower

I am fortunate to have an amazing dealer here. Whether I was buying $500,000 worth or $5000 they stand behind every sale. I think that makes a world of difference in the "user experience". That said, something in what the OP says in his post doesn't add up. There is no such "left gearbox" in a...

    DK45s and Titian flail mower

Poster states DK45 in the title so it’s a 45hp tractor. Not a huge machine but big enuf for the smaller flail. I can’t imagine trying to wrangle a 72 inch flail mower on a DK45

Should I cab or not. Getting ready to buy

My tractor has a cab and I wouldn’t have it any other way. A few things that haven’t been mentioned... Getting in and out is not as easy. Doors can get hung up on things if you drive with them open. You shouldn’t but you will. Wear your seat belt. Bouncing up and smacking your noggin on the cab...

Leaky front swivel seal...again (DK series)

Well $80 later the new seal is in on the '06 DK45C. Fortunately I bought this giant snap ring pliers set to take a turbo apart with, so I did have the right tool for the job. So to save the next owner a lot of time doing useless stuff like taking everything completely apart.... Remove the...

Trackhoe base for 3 point BH attachment?

Forgive me if this has been covered. I have a fine 3 point sub frame detachable backhoe that is great for what it can do on a tractor. Windmill FAIL

finally got round to putting up the pond aeration windmill. It was going pretty well until the thing was about ten feet up. Blown front axle swivel seal

Opened the barn door to find the floor covered in a big oil stain. Obviously originating from the DK45 since there weren't any Land Rovers in there at the time LOL. Anyway, investigation revealed that the oil seal on the front axle (passenger side?, OK right side) had failed and half the...

I find myself pronouncing "Kioti" as if the first syllable rhymes with "key". Like "Key-Oh-Tee" I don't know if this is unusual or if it's just my Maryland sneaking in. I guess it's supposed to be pronounced like the canine, "coyote". "Kye-Oh-Tee" Yup, Friday and not much happening at the moment.
