No flames, oil burns! I think I can tell bad/worn out oil from good/usable oil in an engine by smelling oil from the dipstick, looking at it, and feeling it between my fingers. No scientific tests to confirm this, just want to know if anybody else claims some accuracy doing this. Mike

Seems like most of the raising action occurs in the 8-9-10 area of my CK30HST control, no raising until i get in that area, is that normal? I'm new at this, there seems to be some relationship between the adjusted length of the upper link and the raising action? I haven't quite got this figured...

I got this French (sorry) ammo box from www.sportsmansguide.com http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=196481 It JUST FITS back of seat on CK30. I think it's about the biggest you could get in there. The wire hinges are rusty but I'm loosening them, then paint it chevy orange and bolt it...

Question for diesel experts out there. My '76 Mercedes has a monstrous type of fuel filter very thick and HD. Other diesel filters I've seen are big also. Why does the Kioti have a gasoline-like thin filter? Could it use another filter in line with this one? Mike
