Jinma 284 uh oh clutch problems

This is EXACTLY what happened to my 284! I even ordered the same spring from Keno lol. I put it away until the weather improved and I can make further diagnosis. Did you end up fixing your tractor?

Jinma 284 uh oh clutch problems

The other day I felt a "pop" in the clutch pedal and suddenly I had practically no free play and had to return the flopping pedal manually. I slide under it and found the return spring broken. No biggie, ordered a return spring from Keno Tractor and put it on today. Still have have no...

What are they worth? Gator and 4110

That's helpful, I was thinking somewhere in the $10k range. Anything over that in my appear seem to be newer and hydrostatic drive. People don't seem too excited about the Gator since it's only 2wd and 2 seater.

What is a good selling price for this tractor and UTV?

Would you folks take a look at my thread in the John Deere section and give me your input? Not getting any feedback on that thread I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to price these items at. The Gator doesn't seem like it will command much since it's not the 4x4 or diesel. The tractors I find...

What are they worth? Gator and 4110

I’m doing a real estate sale of some property and there is a tractor and Gator to sell. The tractor is a 4110 with a 410 loader and a 413 brush hog. Tractor is in great condition with a new battery and 585 hours on the clock. I thin the tractor is a 2002 model. Then there’s a 2007 Gator 4x2...

    Jinma 284 no right turns!

Recently it has become very hard to make right turns. If I forced the wheel it would eventually make the turn but now there is almost no right turn action. Left works fine, all the other hydraulics work fine. I jacked the front up and checked everything over, nothing bent or visibly broke...

    Pond algae

We have a springfed pond on our property, probably about 3/4 of an acre. It's pretty full of silt, algae and weeds. There is no aeration to it. We can't have grass carp on Oregon. About the only fish options looks to be the usual bluegill, bass, perch, trout and catfish. Do catfish eat...

Need ideas for a hay cart

We've tried the wagon route and they are too tippy with the hay bale on top, for some reason they make the axles so narrow and tires too small! We've also done the wheelbarrow and rubbermaid cart and bales are too big for rubbermaid cart. I would really like it to be something she could wheel...

Need ideas for a hay cart

My wife needs a cart to haul hay from the barn to the horses, appx 100'. Due to our fabulous Oregon rain, it is usually through some thick mud. The bales are too big for her to carry by hand so right now she has to make several trips carrying small bundles. Other times she starts up the...

What to do about dead deer?

Discovered a dead 3 point on the land bordering our place and the neighbors. The neighbors house is abandoned since the renters moved out and left all their garbage. The deer is a fairly recent addition but decomp has been going on for awhile. There is what appears to be a bullet hole near...

    Shop stove oil drip

After years of talking about it, I finally got the motivation to put in a waste oil drip on my shop woodstove. I don't know why I waited so long! It works perfect and keeps the fire burning longer and much warmer! I had an old refrigerant recovery tank that already had pipe connections on the...

    Hydraulic top link advice needed

Hi, I need some advice on a top link purchase. I have a Jinma 284 with rear remotes and Cat I. I would like to purchase a hydraulic top link but I'm not sure what to look for. I assume I need another joystick to control it? Can this be purchased in kit form or do I need to purchase each...

Question about pouring concrete for wall

Hi Guys, I have an old pole barn that has one open side. I would like to enclose that side but the poles are set inside the eaves about 5' and I would like to gain some of that space back. My idea is to pour a concrete footer along that edge appx 12" back from the eave then frame in a 2x6...

Got my Oregon Concealed Handgun Permit finally!

Been putting this off forever since the only classes I could find were about 45 miles away on nights I had to work. Luckily stumbled across this website that you can do the required course online and if you pass the test you can print out your certificate. It cost me $39 I took it down to the...

Box Scraper  How to clean ditches

Hi Supposedly you can use a box scraper to clean ditches...can anybody tell me how that's done? I can't get my mind around it? Do you tilt it at an extreme angle? Do you straddle the ditch or drive next to it? I have about 600' of ditch that runs next to my driveway at the base of hill that...

3-Point Hitch  3 point wont raise

Hi I have a Jinma 284 that I've had a couple years. It's developed an annoying habit of the 3 point not raising. It seems to be after it sits awhile and is cold. Fluid level is up, adjusting the speed control doesnt do anything. It will lower but no raise. Raising the rpm's doesnt help...
