Made these today... Just some 3/4" X 3/8" flat stock heated up in the wood stove and bent into a hook. Then,I backed that with another piece of flat stock to make a "T" cross section. Some 1/2" pieces of stainless round rod make up the teeth.

Anyone familiar with the stuff? I can get it for $3.90 a ton two miles down the road and wonder how well it would work for my little drive to the barn.
