I took down rakers and sharpen chain for first time on big Jon, feeler gauged the rakers at .020 before, then after one swipe they was a good .035. This chain is a year old so at this rate it should last 10 years or until I'm to old to lift the saw.

I hardly ever file anymore, I need something with a motor on it. I tried a cheap Timber Tuff bar mount but had poor results, might be ok on a chain thats been rocked. I tried the more pricey Timber line and not happy with that either, the chain link holder is not high enough so chain rivets tend...
