I have a 1085 MF. The PTO quit working the other day, when I was mowing. After taking a closer look, I found the PTO shaft was coming out of the tractor. My question is, what holds the PTO shaft in the tractor? The tech manual I have shows an internal snap ring, if I'm reading it right. Is this true? If so, how do you get to it?
