Buying Advice 1301d right front knuckle advice???

I recently rebuilt the right front knuckle on my Yanmar. I can't seem to get the seal to seat on the bottom of the housing. Does the bevel gear and bearing need to be pressed on further. It seems that everything is where it should be, but I don't want to force it. Does anyone have experience with a rebuild.

You REBUILT the knuckle or you replaced the seal? Have you checked the bearings in the top of the assembly?

Thanks for your reply. I rebuilt the entire knuckle new seats and shims, new bevel gear, and new bearings, and a new seal. IT seems that they are all seated firmly on the king pin and the all the gears engage. I just don't know if they need to be pressed on further. Sent a picture let me know if it helps. Thanks

Is it possible that to many spacer shims got put on? This could cause extra stack height. Another thought: Was the new bearing the same stack height as the old one? Keep us informed.

Everything that came off went back on . No extra parts which is a good thing with me. The bearing I ordered from Aaron at Hoye and that is the first thing I checked stack height is the same as well as the new bevel gear. Can I get away with removing some spacers and shims?
