1533 50 hour service

Just finished the 50 service. Just have to grease the fittings. No big deal because I have done all of them once before at least once. Glad I did not spend 700 bucks for that. The fluids and filters did cost over 250 at the MF store. Last time I do that. Coastal makes a tranny fluid which is a direct fit to permatran for 1/2 the cost. Have not found a good replacement filter yet. Any suggestions?

Of course each to their own, but if your tractor has a hydro or PowerShuttle, I won't put anything but Permatran in it. Those seals and fluid clutches aren't cheap compared to fluid.

I use NAPA (wix filter) for both the engine and transmission filters, i have a AGCO st30x (basically a MF 1428V and i use NAPA 1360 for engine oil and NAPA 1268 transmission filter

I agree Jerry. Pay a little more now, or alot more later....... I prefer to buy the filters and fluid from the local dealer. I would rather take care of them first.
