15hrs on new BX25D

I've had my BX25D for a week now and I am pretty impressed with what this little power house can do. With15 hrs on it I used it to help my brother do some rough landscaping at his new house. We were able to move much bigger rocks than I thought, the back hoe capability was limited only by operator inexperience and the box blade did an amazing job of levelling the yard. I used to have an orchard and have used Ford 2000, 3000, 3600 and MF 135 & 235 and I can't get over the ease of use of the HS tranny. A bit of muscle memory had to be relearned because where the brake used to be is where the accelerator is...no damage! The operator comfort is superior and I'm not a little guy. My shopping list for implements and accessories is growing daily. All and all I am very impressed thus far.

Action pics are a must for those little powerhouses. Glad your enjoying it.

Just a suggestion - if you're regularly working in tight areas without need of the backhoe, you might want to consider a ballast box with 4 bags of concrete in it. It'll give you a shorter package to manoeuvre with, yet you'll still have the weight to pick up a decent load. The BX series are a lot of fun - and you can have fun and get a lot done with them around the yard. Enjoy. :thumbsup:

Yesterday I had to help my father in law pull his kabota m4900 out of the mud using my bx25d. I wish I had a picture! It took 2 tries but I got it out.
