Has anyone come up with a bin or tray theyve mounted in the circled area of my picture? I’d like somewhere to toss gloves when I climb back in..

Have a 1742, same thing on the dash. I was thinking a bit of lexan a couple inches high, bent to fit windshield across the dash and back to the window. Some velcro would hold it plenty secure.

That is a decent idea.

I’ll explore that as it is a lot simpler to deal with than a bin

If you decide to go the velcro route, give the spots where the velcro will adhere with a bit of acetone or brake cleaner.

Looks like a winner. Practical place for the phone.

I use this Milwaukee tool bag - originally for our M18 cordless drill.
Bag alone is $22 on amazon, flat padded bottom, riveted handles and a heavy metal zipper. It's rather small, but that makes it just right to hang it on a convenient hook. Glasses, headset, & gloves with room for a sandwich.
