For that size tractor and a whole lot of mowing - Schulte Industries, rotary cutters. My neighbor has a couple of those bat wing, lime green implements. He says they work well and just require routine maintenance.

Hard to beat Woods and Bush Hog.

I bought a Woods BW15.50 about two years ago and have found it to be all it was advertised to be.

Woods has a proprietary blade mounting system that makes it easy to change blades even after years of use.

The BW is my 4th new Woods cutter in the past 12/13 years and I have had no serious problems and few regrets.

Prices for new implements are skyrocketing so delay is costly.

I have used John Deere CX series rotary cutters for decades behind my Kubotas and JCBs.
I am a commercial field cutting contractor and farmer, so what would I know, but I am pleased with them.
Its easy to beat Woods. Just take a single deck woods into some rough junk and see what the deck looks like. I hear they may finally have a double deck design, but the others had it 15 years ago.....
Bush hog is a very good brand.

Just to show you I have experience with Woods, here’s one of my Kubotas about 8 years ago with my Woods mower. The deck did not hold up. It began rusting on the top from rock hits in 2 years.
My Deere’s have no rust, because of the dual deck design after 10 years of hard commercial use.

I have run both jd and woods rotary mowers. Both pull and 3pth. I will go with woods. I used to mow pipeline row and jd didn’t get it . Regardless of there double decks .. there gear boxes are junk. Woods is tough.. I have owned 4 and will put them up against any of the major brands. ROW mowing is tough and hard on mowers and tractors.. the ground is unforgiving and steep. The mowers we use cut 4” and down materials and no problems with deck dents or other issues. You can’t beat there blade change systems either. Jd is good by 2 ways their name and their paint . They like both!

Just used our M-5 111 for the first time today spreading fertilizer. I don’t know how people keep the plastic on their seats. The static electricity that is produced is too much for me to handle. Every time I went to open the door I got shocked. The plastic comes off tomorrow lol.

I felt the PTO shifter for the 540E or 540 was very finicky. Maybe just because it is new but after shifting and it not engaging but grinding gears I think I’ll leave it on the good old 540.

The tractor was comfortable to drive and got the job done once I figured out the PTO. Happy with the radial tires as it just seemed to float on top of the ground.

After 10 or so hours the DPF is 60% full. Not sure if the regen kicks in at 100% or a little before. When the tractor is pulling a load it’s DPF doesn’t fill up as quickly.

The plastic on my seats came off immediately. Wife took a bath towel and sewed me a seat cover to protect the velour seat. Works very well.

Operators manual advises to stop engine before shifting EPTO selector.

Is a bat wing mower all you will consider??

A Hiniker 15 foot flail shredder has many fewer fewer drive components and only one gearbox and can be 3 point hitch mounted or towed and it has an optional towing hitch and a road legal lighting system for towing that allows it to be towed safely within the roadway width.
