2000 L2500 Kubota, Boom lift up down weird.

3 point lift arms were not going all the way up, PO had the stop a little before highest point. I readjusted the stop so it would lift all the way up. Several days later I was doing some dirt hauling with the bucket and noticed the boom was very slow going up and down, had to put it in float for it to go down, wth. Not knowing this would have an effect, I lowered the 3 point a tad and the boom up and down started working normal, wth, I put the 3 point all the way up again and boom would not go up and down as it should, so again I lowered the 3 point a tad and the boom works as it should. Does anyone know what is going on ?????

If the three point is being maxxed out, the system is probably in "bypass" which lowers the pressure.

Sounds like the 3 point feedback arm is out of adjustment so it doesn’t stop asking for oil when fully raised. Was this what you adjusted?

That model might have the Husco FEL valve with series - parallel flow path. This valve directs oil returning from lift lower circuit to the power beyond circuit so you can lift and dump at the same time. Downside of this type of valve is that any load on the 3 point reduces loader lift and if enough load prevents loader from lowering.

I adjusted the lever right side of driver. PO had the stop set and I moved it further so the arms would lift higher on the 3 point. No weight on the 3 point lift, when at it"s highest the boom arms are very slow up and down. Boom can lift and dump at the same time. If I let the 3 point drop an inch or so the fel boom and bucket work as they should
