Well, I am one sore puppy...
I bought my BX23 used, and it did not come with the 3pt hitch components.
my local Kubota dealer said that the BX2506 3pt hitch kit for the BX25 would fit, but with extra parts left over, and they were right.
Getting the backhoe off was pretty straight forward, read the manual first! Getting to be an old fart has its benefits!
that took a half hour. the hitch components took about twice that, mostly because I took them off again to try reversing the components to see if the fit was better, and then back again.
the posthole digger was another hour or more, doing all this alone was not too bad, but I was very sore the next day, and still am. That thing digs a hole likkity-split! I buried the thing, 9"x4', baddaBOOM...and the engine stalled.
all is well, and 5 holes dug, plants planted, laundry line hung up, and french drain ready to fill with gravel.
I thought maybe other BX23 owners might like to know about that BX2506 kit, $216.
