Hey Everybody,
I'm thinking about purchasing a used 2008 JD 2320 with a 200cx loader. My only question is if this loader has the quick attach/detach capability? Is there anything I should be worried about purchasing this used tractor? Everything appears clean on the outside, and it only has 80 hours on it. Is there anything I should check out on the tractor before I purchase it from the owner?
Thanks!!!:)

You'll totally enjoy the tractor. Yes it's quick release if its the cx200 loader. JD made an x200 loader in that year, that is not quick relese, but I think they are rare as I've never seen one and the saving was only $200ish from new, not worth the saving. Also the bucket is quick attach also. The only down side is Deere uses there own quick attach bucket system which does not match with the skid steer system.

Awesome! Thanks Yelbike!! How is this loader overall, can it curl while being raised? Also, if properly serviced and maintained how many years do you guys think I can get out of this tractor? It will be primarily used for cutting the pastures on my 5 acre horse farm, and occasionally spreading mulch.

To curl while raising is a little slow with both the 2305 and 2320. They are both super strong as I have 54" bucket on both and they can both handle a full bucket of lime stone. Just be careful and wear your seat belt as they do roll over.

I'm very happy with my 2320 and 200CX. On and off is really only a few minutes. The hydraulic connections take as long as the mechanical attachment.

As noted above, this is a really strong built loader for a tractor the size of the 2320. I've tried to lift/pull things several times that there was not enough lift capacity to move and I couldn't detect any deflection in the loader arms or bucket.

My 2320 200cx loader curls and lifts as long as the rpm is over 2800. The loader is slower than a lot of other Deere loaders but I consider that a feature. It helps keep me out of trouble. Strongly recommend a toothbar if it doesn't already have one. That increase digging efficiency a whoop or maybe a whoop and a half.:) Check to see if there is a lot of play in the loader pins; I was told by my dealer that a lot of people have a tendency to not apply enough grease so the pins wear out.

Also check the cutting edge of the bucket. With only 80 hours you are not looking for wear, but looking to see if it has been bent. It should be straight.
If it is bent, also look at the loader booms for any tweaks, bends, cracks or repairs (welds). I doubt you will find any problems/abuse, but look before you buy.

Also find a level spot and verify that the bucket sits level on the ground. If it isn't than either the rear tire pressure is off or the loader is twisted. Tire pressure is easy to fix, a twisted loader is not.

No issues with ours. IMO it's a good tractor.
I would also test drive it with and without 4WD.
Can you let us in on how much money and what you are getting for said money?

The guy wants 13,500 for the 62d mower 200cx loader and 2008 2320. I don't think I'm going to buy this tractor anymore. I priced a new one at a dealer for 16,600 with 0% financing. Do you guys think thats a good price before tax or can I get a little more off? Also, there isn't supposed to be a new 2320 that will replace the current 2320 anytime soon that I should wait to get right?
