2022 John Deere 5100M standard cab & 5115M premium differences

Hello,

Doing some shopping for a 5M series and found a 5100M standard and 5115M premium cab pair of tractors - I haven't seen them in person yet and have been unable to find good documentation online about the differences. It looks like the buddy seat can be added to the standard cab, and there is a window in the roof on the premium cab.

Anyone have good info or a video on the differences between these two cab trims in the 2022 model year?

No, but i wouldnt want a window in roof of cab unit….think blazing sun

I have a large glass panel in the roof of my Power Wagon. Thank God - there is a "shade" that can be pulled to cover this window.

With the shade opened and under the blazing sun - it's like sitting under a magnifying glass.

I'll just bet that there is not that much difference between the 2022 vs 2024. I know you can find the differences on the JD site for the 2024 models. This will give a good idea of differences, at least, til you can see them in person.

Supposedly the roof windows are for seeing the loader at full height

I owned a 2014 5115m 4x4 with a fel and premium cab. It had the buddy seat and glass in the cab roof . It came with a canopy or cover for the window to block the sun.. The premium cab was decent also had an air ride seat that turned for easy exit and looking back…I added a radio.It was wired with speakers and antenna….Overall I would rate this tractor a 4 out of 10 . 10 being the highest. I have no knowledge of the 5100m. Good luck with whatever you decide.
