I am about to purchase my first tractor, a 2320 with a H130 FEL and a 270A backhoe to start with, and have a question for everyone out there that has experience with one of these tractors. What accessories have you purchased or changes have you done along the way that you feel work well and consider worthwhile? And vice-versa, which if any items have you purchased or what have you done that you look back and said that wasn't worth my time or money, or wish you had done different? I'm trying to get an idea of what works and what doesn't on these tractors like the size/type of implements that work, accessories that add to functionality of the machine, etc. I know there are going to be limitations on what this machine will accomplish due to it's size and hp and feel it will do what I need it to. Just looking for some insight so I don't spend on items that don't work. Thanks for any info.

Besides the loader my two most used attachments are a box blade and pallet forks, my least used attachment is a landscape rake which I could definitely live without. On my wish list is a land plane.

Oh, and if using a box blade the top and tilt cylinders for the 3 pt. are highly recommended.

I agree with Eric on what he listed. The top and tilt will require more then one rear hydraulic valve. I do recommend adding 2 or 3 rear valves.
I am in the process of adding three valves to the rear of my 1026R.

Since you have a backhoe, my experience might not apply, but my Harbor Freight quick hitch and my Original Tractor Cab (for winter snowblowing use) are essentials for me.

If you ever want to use your tractor with the loader at night, some lighting configuration other than the headlights which will be useless as the bucket blocks the lights

A water temperature gauge so I can tell when the engine is overheating from a clogged grill or radiator screen
A small ammo box tool/glove holder on the right side and a larger ammo toolbox for chains etc. in the rear.
Flip the rear lights inward of the ROPS
A switched 12 volt outlet so I can connect the JDSDFW (John Deere Sharon Diesel Fulling Wagon) and pump diesel from the trailer right into the tractor tank.
Hooks on top of the bucket

Least used was the box blade
Most used is either the tiller or the 8 foot 6x6 drag/w steel angle iron cutting edge I use on the 300 foot gravel driveway

After the FEL / BH the #1 attachment for me is the Pallet Forks. The BH gets little use, but is there if needed. Given your location a Rear Snow Blower might be worth a look. Front Blower and Front power angle Blade are nice, but expensive.
