2615 Power after port.

Anyone try to connect another spool valve to the (Prince) spool for a bucket mounted grapple?

I can build the grapple for less than the on-line price, including the cylinder, but if I have to buy and plumb a selector, or selector/switch combo, I'm not sure of the cost or ease of building. I haven't done much hydraulic work.

You could do that but presently your Prince valve PB port attaches to the tractor to power the 3ph. Your additional valve would have to be powered from the loader valve PB port and the PB port on your additional valve would in turn have to attach back to the tractor to power the 3ph. Beware when purchasing the additional valve, that the new valve must have a PB port, as not all valves do. I hope this helps.

It helps a lot! I didn't realize it powered the 3PH.

You have the same basic loader valve I have on my 4025. The PB port goes to the rear lift. I bought the basic kit from Idaho Attachments..
Construction Attachments Dedicated Third Function Hydraulic Valve Kit, Less Hoses

You just have to add hoses. The valve is an open center that allows the 3PT to get pressure. Works a treat. I'm at work now, but I'll post up some pics tomorrow.

Took the baby out for a workout today, WOW am I happy! Even though it wasn't an exact fit, it works great.

I stacked about 8-10 cord of green logs, and piled enough brush to keep me busy for days burning it!
