I just picked up a 2538 cabbed tractor it has a backhoe, the 3 point arm stabalizers were missing and it looks like the lower hooks of the subframe are in the way of having them on, I made a set out of 3/8 chain for now, but I assume they must fit, I'm just curious why they are missing 20180619_124619.jpeg

I also have a 2538 and left mine on. They rattle like crazy and end up hanging below the bottom of the backhoe seat frame which reduces ground clearance even more. I probably will eventually take them off but I take the backhoe off pretty often to use other implements.

Ok thanks so the stock stabalizers do fit, as you can see from the picture it only came with half of them

You will have plenty of clearance with the stock stabilizers. The arms will have to go all the way down in order to clear the backhoe frame. If I think about it when I get home I will send a pic. I don’t see anything in my phone that I could add. If your on Facebook there is a a video I made in the Mahindra Tractor Ownens USA page that will show the factory set up with the backhoe off and on.

I have a 5035. I take the lower link 3pt arms off along with the side link stabilizers. Reassemble everything for each side, then hang the complete right and left assembly on the wall for when I try to put it back on. Keeps everything together to help you remember how it is supposed to go back on. While there is probably enough room underneath the hoe 4pt with the hoe attached, the 3pt arms sticking down that low may just cause ground clearance problems while you are working the hoe. And hang up when you are trying to drive over a large rock or log.

I leave my arms on and lift them all the way up. You can get it to work. I was able to leave them on and in the up position even with pats quick change on but that makes it tight. When they are below the hoe i found mine hitting dirt and misc . 2538

Oledadger do you leave the stabalizer chains on also, I just put hoe on for first time today, t wasnt to bad, considering i didnt put it on flat ground, ehen offloading,, I removed the lift arms and let lower arms go below frame and ratchet strapped them up, I'd lime to try and leave everything on, just to have less to do each time and be faster

check chains come off at the tractor with the spiral keychain clips. swing em around, rest them on top of arms ..... they will poke through under and side of hoe seat pedestal and try and trip you. but after falling from that height two or three times while getting on or off the hoe, you will learn
