I have one of the first 3720's built. I added the remote function lines on the loader for running grapple ordered in new. My hydraulic hoses have always rubbed the crap out of my hood and the front tires bounce them all over when steering. Seeing pics in another thread showing a hoop to guide the hoses away from the tire got me started researching what I could do to help this. My dealer sent me a parts drawing showing a hoop that pinned into the stationary loader frame to guide the hoses. My tractor has the hole to which this mounts, but no hoop. Essentially the only thing supporting the hoses is the steel lines which are clipped into holders on the loader boom.

Yesterday I stopped and looked at a used 3720 to check out the hose retainers in person. It looks ike I may be missing yet another stay clip. The boom pivot (upper rear of frame)appears to have a small bracket on it and a nylon cable tie retaining the hoses to this bracket.

So now I have to wonder if:

A) My tractor was so early that these parts were not used
B) They got left off at the factoiry
C) They don't fit with the remote line kit added
D) They were removed and left off when the dealer added the lines

Or
E) just order the parts
F) fabricate something that is even better than what Deere has.
:)

I need to do something for my snowplow hyd. lines too. Do you have a pic ot rhe 3720 you checked out?

I actually had noticed that some 3000 series loaders did not have the support you speak of. I didn't and mentioned it to my dealer, he ran in the back and grabbed one and told me they must've forgot. I installed it and it's made a world of difference. At the time I was buying a 448 hoe for around 8k so that's probably why he was so generous.

Yeah, these are absent on my 300CX as well. Not sure if this was an early model loader or not but I am guessing that's the case. I've been meaning to pick up the additional parts as well.

This is on a 4310

It looks like you have the bracket/tiewrap mentioned in the second paragraph of the first post.

Can't tell if you have the metal loop or not.

Yeah, looks like you have everything. Hard to tell about the loop, but if you have the tie wrap you probably have the loop as well.

Where is the loop?

I've never had an issue with the lines that's for sure.

This is one of the early 300 cx's, my tractor came with the 430 loader, the new model tractor and loader just came out after I bought mine. I have no problem with the 4310 model but I wanted the better specs of the 300cx so I upgraded to the new loader. Actually cost me very little cause the dealer said they had plenty of people that needed/wanted the 430 loader, and gave me a very generous trade in value. They even delivered it from out of state and installed it in my yard.

Actually, the wire bracket he might be talking about that I am thinking of attaches to the tractor frame IIRC. I think it might be on my 4300 actually, but do not believe it ever came on the newer 3x20 series tractors because of the hose "holders" built into the 300 series loaders. There is a wire loop thing on the 200 series loaders... (look right by the "ST" in HST below)

Here is a good photo of the 2 300 series loader "holders" along with pictorial index and part numbers. I don't have either of these on my loader :(
(and because I do not have these, you can see where the boom pin has started to rub into the hydraulic hose, and I also had the scratching that KennedyDiesel mentioned)

I believe the wire bracket would bolt to the tractor frame, and would go near where the tie wraps are on this tractor. However, I can't seem to find any pics of 4x00's or 4x10's with the bracket so dunno.
