Hello all new here looks like a great forum to be a part of here! I hope i'm in the correct section for this and really hope someone can help me out! I have a 2012 3320 with just short of 400 hours on it, love the tractor but its always has had what seems like an issue with the hydraulics. the loader, 3point, and rear remote sound like they have air in the system some times. and will chatter and shake. everything else works great. machine has no leaks at, i have changed the fluid and filters didn't see any issues in there. system pressure is within spec at 2450PSI and charge pressure is around 250PSI. its interesting because with a gauge hooked to charge pressure i can see the needle drop a little every time the system will chatter. dealer says this is normal and act like they don't really want to chase this down! Maybe i'm just being picky but this cant be normal or good on components any help or leads would be greatly appreciated!

Ok there was an issue about the pump outlet line chattering because it wasn’t clamped good. Heard pretty clear in cab and was mistaken for pump chatter. Check your hard lines to and from pump and where they are clamped. Maybe that’s the issue.

Report back!!

Another thing. You are using low-viscosity hy-gard correct? Check hose clamps at pump as well make sure they are not sucking air.

You can see the loader shake when it does it so i think its more than just a sound actually but I can see how those could be mistaken!

There was a crack in the inlet manifold boot to the charge and what I think is steering pump. replaced it and installed new clamps with and it didn't seem to help any! all hard lines also seem to be tight i've gone over every fitting I can find or get to I am using Lo-vis fluid but it seemed to act the same with the factory break in oil.

Thank you guys for the input! I'm open to try anything

The loader hydraulics on my 2008 3320 will "chatter" for a few seconds after I first start it up for the day but after that I haven't really noticed it. Just assumed a little bit of air gets in the pump after it sits all night. Haven't felt it in the 3pt or rear hydraulics.

sounds similar, you can definitely notice it most at first startup after sitting! maybe its not just me still wouldn't think its normal

I think all my tractors will shake- shudder @ the hydraulics upon startup. It is very pronounced if you're aggressive with the controls - full joystick back, etc. Much less noticeable if you gradually ease into raising the loader or a 3pt. Implement.

No problems after startup or use during the day.

Sounds like you know exactly what I'm talking about. If you ease into it, much less noticeable but it continues through the working day and after start up

Well... that's a different situation - if you continue to have hydraulic performance issues after the tractor is warmed up and working.

There could be something else going on with your tractor.

When you changed out your hydraulic oil and filter, did you clean the sump filter? It could affect hydraulic performance if it's partially blocked.

I replaced the main filter in bottom of machine and cleaned the inline screen. I didn't think it had another filter! where is sump filter located on a 3320? Is it worth checking even though i didn't find any debris in the other filters?
