3725 discontinued?

My friend test drove my 3725CH and went to the dealer to check them out and get prices. Dealer reported that the 3725 is discontinued? He recommended a 4720CH. Just checking if anyone else heard anything.

As of a week ago, my dealer (Ontario, Canada) was definitely selling 4225s, had a non-cab on the lot and could get a cabbed one. He mentioned the 3725 wasn't selling well since people would always spring for the extra HP, but didn't mention anything about it no longer being available.

Mind you, we're in hilly and rocky Canadian shield country. I debated getting the 42 vs 37 and am glad I sprung for the extra HP. I don't do much ground engaging stuff so hydraulics matter more than HP for me, but even with 42 HP I can't zoom up some of the hills on my back road in "3" with the backhoe on, have to go down to "2".

BTW have no trouble with my 4225H that can't be traced back to operator inexperience or stupidity

To me the 15 series, 20 series and 25 series were too similar, but I think they want a tractor for every price point.

In Europe, they stop selling the 25 series up to the 5025. They fill the 35 to 45HP market with the F series (15 series in the US) instead and sell the 5025 and 6225, with 50 and 60HP respectively. We used to have a 3125, 3725 and 4225 available but I suppose it wasn't selling that good.

This makes it like:

05 Series: 1905 and 2505 Models with 19 and 25HP

00 Series: 2500 with 25 HP. They had to discontinue the 2900 and 3100, 29 and 31HP with turbo, because of the new emissions requirements in Europe. It'll pretty much work like in the US. Under 25 hp, no need for DPF or DOC. The 3100 was a great seller because in Europe, we tend to prefer smaller and more compact tractors with higher HP, instead of bigger tractors. It also had bigger tires and a wider stance.

F Series (15 series in the US): F36, F42 and F46 with 35, 40 and 45 HP respectively.

25 Series: 5025 and 6225 with 50 and 60 HP respectively.

K Series (45 Series in the US): K78 with 75HP.

I would be surprised they were discontinuing the 3725, seeing as how the model has only been out for 3 years now.

yes unfortunately we have been told they will be discontinuing selling the 25 series in the U.S, how ever they will continue to provide parts and service for these models, what we were told is the 25 series hasn't sold like they hoped it would in the U.S like it does in the other world markets thus they're discontinuing it, but they have also said the newer 35 series they are releasing will be taking its place, which is a much heavier and stronger tractor.

Thank you for the info. I suspect parts will not be a problem as they still sell similar models, just not in the US any longer.

yes parts will be widely available as a lot of the smaller components on the 20 & 25 series lines are the same so parts availability should never really become and issue.

That is surprising. I would have expected them to discontinue the 20 series, and add more HP options to the 25 series. They're pretty much in the same class as far as I can tell. The 25 series just seemed like the current/updated 20 series cosmetically but with a few extra perks.

it was for the most part but it was also a heavier tractor chassis, it surprised us as well i figured they would do the same, but we will see how things play out in the coming months
