400hr. on the BX25 today

i sure picked a hot a humid day. other than that, everything went well.

the front axle oil was a bit dirtier than i expected, then again it's not filtered. hydro fluid came out looking like new.

my assistant was passed out on the job by the time we got to the MMM gearbox. kids these days...

Nice array of lubricants for your 400 hour service!
It always seems to take me all day to perform a major service,but I feel so good afterwords!
You obviously love your tractor (and your assistant)like we all do.

Third summer and 320hr on my BX so will be following you soon. I've worked mine pretty hard so thinking I should do the front axles and probably the whole 400 service a little early. Can't hurt I suppose!

took me better part of the day, but did it all right and like you say - sure did feel good.

friend of mine said "that looks expensive". he obviously hasn't see what a hydro pump or MMM gearbox costs!

i take good care of things so that they can take good care of me, even the lazy 4-legged ones.

took me nearly 5 years to reach 400 hr.

i do engine oil and MMM gearbox every spring regardless of hours.

thinking i might shorten the front axle change interval a bit?

switching the hydro fluid to synthetic SUDT2 made a noticeable reduction in the whining noise while driving, which was nice.
