Just bought the dealer's last 4010 here in Tucson. As I mentioned I was looking at the 2210 but as it turns out he gave me the 4010 with the 410 loader and 4' box scraper for $1100 less than the 2210. The total cost (out the door with tax and delivery) was $12,800 with the 410 loader and 4' Frontier box. He threw in the rear work light kits. Does this sound like a reasonable price for this setup? He said if I didn't like the 4010 I could pay the difference and get the 2210. Thanks.

That price sound good to me. My 4010 is just over two years old. Much like you, when I bought it I was looking at the 2210. My dealer showed me the 4010 and I opted to go with it because of the larger frame and wheels.
I did not get a loader, I got a 60" mid-mount 7-iron mower. I think all together it was around $11500.00.
The tractor has worked fine for me, and overall I am happy with my choice. The only downside for me turned out to be the design of the bracket system that utilizes the 3pt. for raising and lowering the mid-mount mower. It is somewhat awkward.

Sounds about right. Last November, I got my 4010 HST with 410 loader and LX4 plus toothbar for $13,955. The toothbar was $300, and the LX4 was $1,000.
Love my 4010. To use the full capacity of the 410 loader, you need about 300# on the 3 pt. Without that and bucket brim full of gravel, it can get a bit tippy on the uphill rear wheel on a slope.
It'll use about 0.45-0.5 gallon/hr of diesel.
To replace the hydraulic filter at 50 hours, you'll need to remove a rear wheel to slide the 3 pt shaft out of the way. That's left out of the owner's manual. To get the ring off the fuel filter bowl, remove the whole sheebang via that 12mm bolt that holds it to the frame. THEN you can easily rotate it up and get a channel lock on the ring. Tighten only finger tight though.
