Hey All,
I had the chance to put our 4ft 413 Rotary Mower on the 2520 yesterday for the first time to clean up our paths in the woods and to make some new ones. Compared to using it on the 2305 it is quite a bit less stressful, mainly due to having no ground clearance issues but also because of the ratio of machine size to the mower size too. On the 2520, it just hummed along chopping away.
The only issue was the chain guard on the front of the deck hits the 2520 tires if you lift the 3pt hitch all the way up. I tried moving the pins and adjusting all of the mounting options on the deck to no avail. I guess this is an argument for getting a quick hitch, though I don't use my 3pt much since the backhoe is normally hanging out back.
I don't use the rotary mower very often, but it sure is great fun when I do! Sorry, for the lack of action shots.
