JD4310/Sync Shift/ 430 loader /toothbar
I stopped by my dealers today to get a measurement on my 420 loader grill guard. I'm going to put a peice of expanded metal grid on it to add extra protection for the grill and lights. The loader has been sitting for a few days in a corner of the lot but I couldn't find it. I got to looking around and saw that it was mounted on my 4310 which arrived yesterday. HOT DOG ! It looks like the only things they need to finish are setting the wheels out, fluid in tires, and installing the toothbar. I was in a real time crunch so I didn't get a chance to talk to my dealer before I left. The place was like a bee hive. He was backed up with customers and didn't even see me there which was OK w/ me as I didn't have time to wait to talk to him. I sure he will be able to deliver it to me by early next week. This is a pleasant suprise as I didn't expect delivery until after July 1st. Club 4310 please make make room for this "gear guy" on the roster!

Super, now you just have to be patient while you wait for the truck to come to your house!
You will love it. Be sure and post a picture for us.
I can't believe how much work I have been able to get done in the short time I have had mine.
I even managed to get a load of topsoil delivered the same day I got the tractor and FEL /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I got a call from my dealer this morning, the backhoe can be put on when I am ready... he laughed when I said he could pick it up today if he needed /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif anyway my backhoe will be put on on Wednesday or Thursday (if everything goes to schedule).
My dealer has been busy too... quite a bit of interest in the CUTs and all the mowers. And with the 0% financing ending in early July, the pressure is on to deliver fast.

Again, congratulations and welcome to the 4310 Club!

Make a guard for me too!

I was kidding, but, if its easy enough fo you, let me know how much. I'd buy one, and it might not be that hard to make more than one once you've figured it out.

Course there might be a run....

I'll be glad to share what I figure out on the grill guard. I'm not sure if I will just have it tack welded right to front of the guard frame or cut it oversize, bend it to fit over the guard and then drill and bolt it to the guard frame sandwitched between the frame and some peices of flat stock cut to fit. The picture I've seen of the factory extra armor guard shows something similair but it doesn't protect the lights and I bet it is expensive. I'll post some pix as soon as I get it put together.
