I did the 50 hour this week on my CK-20, manual trans. It took a good 2 hours.
I found quite a bit of metal on the transmission/hyd. magnetic drain plug. Mostly whiskers of metal, no chips. I pulled all four drain plugs. One caution, some of the washers on the drain plugs are painted to the tractor and some come off with the plug.I found one in the oil drain pan after I had reinstalled the plug. With the backhoe off and a new filter it took the entire 5 gallons. I used Deere Hygard low viscosity for the temp. range and I hoped it might improve the dump speed of the loader but no luck. Still painfully slow.
The oil in the front axle was quite dirty, I replaced the factory(hyd.trans.oil) with 90 wt.
I sent an engine oil sample to Blackstone for analysis.
I was pleased to see that the fit and finish under the tractor was good.
I will post the results of the oil analysis.
