From past experience - Mahindra will furnish you with a new one at no charge. Judging by the postings on this forum with other owners, bent PTO shafts, kinked hydraulic fittings to the front steering cylinder, etc, have been replaced. In reality Doc, this is the first time I heard of this problem. Unless the cap was faulty, I would guess that it wasn't fully turned to the tightened position. This will be a cheap repair as far as Mahindra is concerned either way. They will want the old one back however. If the dealer is a distance away or an inconvenience for you to get it - they will send it right to your address.
