7308 FEL with 68\"

I currently have the two spool valve on my TC33D for my snow blade and was looking at getting a FEL. One local dealer found an old blue colored 7308 with a 68" HD bucket. They want $2895 for it and I would install it. This seems high to me! I thought that I heard NH was going to reimburse dealers to repaint attachments for a year - is this true? I am Concerned about a 68" bucket being to big for digging with a small compact tractor. Has anyone used a 68" on a TC33D?

I received a phone quote of $2300 for a Leon M500 60" FEL from a dealer 100 miles away. Hoping for a fax from them soon with a hard quote. I believe the black color would match better than the new NH color on the old.

Marty, I just purchased a TC29 with a 7308 FEL and a 60" HD bucket. The break down on my price sheet has the FEL at $2071 and the HD Bucket at $337. Realizing they are part of a package and I bought a Brush Hog too but that prices the new loader and bucket around $2400. Hope this helps you a little bit.

My local dealer was willing to repaint the loader to match the "old" blue color of my tractor. I think I read somewhere on this board that NH might have (or had) a program with dealers to reimburse them for repainting for a period of a year. I went with the new loader (16LA/17LA) style since it matches the styling of the sloped hood on the TC series and just live with the color difference. I figured I will repaint it myself after all the wear and tear the paint will experience this year as I move/dig more than 200 cubic yards of clay and dirt.
