Can any body tell me how to determine the age of my 770?
Can you tell by knowing the vin code?
My vin # is M00770A161090*.

By their serial # convention, I'd say yours is a 1997.

I know of no other place unless you have some paperwork, receipts or otherwise that list the year.

The info is from tractortips.com. Looks like that 770 must have been manufactured in '97 or '98.

Tough machine, the 770! I owned it's smaller brother, the 670 and now own the successor, a 790.

I really like 'em!
