Hard to believe that I have had my DK45 a month already. Already have almost 40 hours on it, mostly BH and Tiller work.
So far I am as tickled as a new baby in a pile of feathers.

Still trying to figure out how to get pictures posted. No experience with digital cameras and pretty much computer illiterate. Only software I have is what came with the camera. ArcSoft I think. The pictures I took are over 700000 bytes. Can't figure out how to get them down to no more than 100000 bytes for posting.

Anyhow, the sun is shining, it is a perfect spring day in east Texas, and there is seat time to do. Will fool with this later.

Go to this web page and download it. It's FREE and works good. There are others out there too, but this is the one I use. If you have any other ?'s, send me a PM.

George, in case you're not familiar with Private Messages, you should see a little mail icon flashing at top of page next to MAIN INDEX. Click on that to go to your mail where you'll find something from me. John

I use ArcSoft also, well Photostudio 2000 SE. I assume a newer version would be similar, so here goes. It is easy to change the photo sizes. First off, when you open a photo in it, right click on it and click Actual View. This will give you a better idea of the size if it is large. If the photo is a large one, click the Edit menu. Then scroll down to Image Size. Make sure Keep Aspect Ratio has a check mark in the box. Then enter a new size in the Width or Height fields. Click ok. Next, click File - Save As. Select a location that is easy to remember so you can fine the image. I suggest My Documents if you are unsure. Change the File Name slightly so you don't overwright the original (prefer to have both an original and an edit). Then choose Save As Type - the best type to choose is Jpeg. Slide the Quality bar down to something like 50. This will save the image in a slightly lower quality but will lower the image file size quite a bit. The last thing you should do is go to the file itself, and right click - Properties. Check the file size to make sure it is under 100k. If it is, great! If not, you can edit the image some more if need be. Hope this helped. Good luck. Look forward to seeing the new DK45. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
