Well, I thought today was going to be another ho-hum type of day. Then I hear a large truck near by. I had no idea where it was, I just knew it was close. When I got to the window to look out, I see a dump truck in the neighbor's driveway dumping gravel. What's more I see a shiny blue Boomer backing off a trailer. At first I could tell it was a Class III with a cab. I could also tell it was a hydro due to the constant engine RPM's and that distinctive "whine". When I seen it closer, it had the 17LA FEL, so it is obviously SuperSteer. At first I couldn't see what model it was because the loader arms were in the way. Then I got to see it at the right angle. It was a TC40D. I got to watch it for about a good 45 minutes. Call me crazy, but it was rather fun to watch it. I also got to see how tight SuperSteer really turns. Wow! I think you guys are lucky. The neighbor's driveway is rather short. Maybe 150 feet. At the end where the garage is, is a small concrete space. To get an idea of how small, it takes almost the entire space to just turn around our two lawn tractors (Cub Cadet 2166 & an older MTD Yardman 14xx (I can't remember which model right now /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif )) Well, that Boomer was able to quickly turn around in that space with no "corrective measures" needed! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Overrall, it was a pleasant surprise to an otherwise cloudy and dreary day! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
