I'll bet the filter, condenser &/or evaporator is stopped up with dirt/chaff. To access evaporator one needs to remove cab roof and then remove an access cover to see evaporator.

I believe the system on my old L5030 was the same as yours and I had the top taken off and cleaned out by the dealer which fixed it. 4shorts has given instructions on how to remove the top on these as he has done extensive modifications, so you might find the instructions on one of his posts, good luck.

Why did you add freon? I see no mention in your post of pressure gauges and/or readings. Air conditioning is not rocket science, but it's not tinker toys either. As with most systems on your tractor, in order to locate a problem it helps to know how the system works. Without gauges and at least a basic knowledge of the principles involved, you're really flying blind. Your problem may be a simple one, maybe not. Either way, it involves some questions you probably can't answer at this point. If you are really lost you may need to contact someone local to help, since all the question and answer sessions here may not be enough. Someone here may well be able to help you, but we need to know what YOU have to work with, and a bit more information than you've given thus far.

I'm not familiar with your tractor, but my M6800 had a similar problem. It would blow only a small volume of cool air from the ducts.

First check the radiator and if you have one the transmission cooler. make sure they are very clean. If not it will not cool and tractor will run hot and AC will not work correctly. If you have a good volume of air from the interior AC ducts in cab, the evaporator is likely not stopped up and the problem is elsewhere.

Second go to Messick's Tractor web page and download the parts diagram for the cab and HVAC and what other areas you might need.

This will give you an idea of where things, are and what is needed to open the cab roof. There are 4 to 6 bolts that need to be removed at the edge of the cab interior. Once these are removed the top lifts off. There is a gasket between the top and bottom of the roof and it may be stuck. Try to not damage it as you remove the top. Once the top is off, you can see the HVAC unit. There will be wiring, controls, bolts and snap plugs that have to be removed to open the AC unit. Take photos so you know how all wiring and controls are placed so you can reassemble them correctly. Buy a can of radiator cleaner and have a water hose nearby to wash it off after its applied. Be careful you do not puncture the radiator/evaporator while cleaning it. Be sure to open any stopped up drain holes/hoses from AC unit, so it will drain properly. Good Luck!
I'm attempting to insert a photo of my evaporator prior to its being cleaned.
