On impliments being able to hit a machine; many track hoe buckets can reach a track or push blade; a motor grader, if used wrong enough, can hit its own tires, ect. That's not a problem, it's operator error. It socks when it happens; but tractors and heavy equipment aren't designed to be idiot proof (not implying the OP is an idiot, I'm using that as a term of speak, I know things can get misread). On the dealer, their job is to sell you stuff you want to buy, and if your relying on a dealer to sell the most appropriate impliment for a job... you are in for a rough time. If Ford sells you an F350 with goose neck, but not a cut down tailgate, it's not their fault When you tear up a bumper turning to sharp, or driving off after unhooking, with tail gate up.
