A while back I added an auxiliary fuse panel to my Kubota L3901 because I was running out of capacity using the work light connection, which is fused at 10 amps. With the amount of LED lights I had on the ROPS plus a fan during the summer months, I need room to grow.

Here's a few pics of the install:

I have a video that shows the details of the installation with a link to a materials list:

This setup has really worked well for me. I'm curious what others have done on their tractors to solve this problem.

If One only need 1 or 2 circuits, the make relays with built in fuses... Keeps it a lot more simple....

Why settle for a simple solution when a more complicated one will do? :)

Is the fan you have mounted on the ROPS/Sun shade?

Yes it is, but I made it easily removable. How I made the mount will be covered in the video.

If I was doing that I would not have thought of putting in an isolation relay to automatically kill everything when the key is off. Probably standard practice but unknown to me. Very good idea. Thanks for posting.

There is an ignition delay timer that works great for tractors. It can keep accessories powered after the tractor ignition is turned off for a pre set amount of time before powering down. It has a voltage sensing circuit to monitor voltage and will disconnect the load to prevent draining the batter.

On my L3800, I used the work light pigtail that is under the rear right fender to trigger a relay that is fed directly off the battery. I use this to power my 3rd function kit and there is a pigtail in there for my upcoming LED light bar.

On my TC 40D I did something very similar to you MPSmith60 -

I added a New Maxi Fuse holder to match the factory installed one which passes through a relay prior to feeding the Aux Fuse panel which is mounted to the existing fuse panel bracket I modified.
Ignition "ON" powers a delay off timer which then triggers the relay to power the Aux Fuse block.

With the Ignition "ON" the Aux Fuse Block it always powers... Upon Ignition "OFF" the countdown timer starts & leaves the Aux Fuse Block powered till the timer runs out (which I have set for approx 25 mins).

This allows me to use my Aux lights, Rear Strobes, Aux Power Outlets, & Accessory 12V Outlets for those 25mins with the tractor off if need be. Really handy when we back the tractor under the carport when it is dark out, we can shut it down put the keys in our pocket & leave the work lights on while closing & covering stuff up... last thing before walking away hit the work light switch..

Last Pic is of the modified dash with all the new switches installed.
