After making my hydraulic log winch, I decided to make up some rear controls for the winch operation. Pretty simple and thought that they might be handy for anyone with a TNT for attaching rear implements. (moving the hitch around instead of wrestling the implement) They are kinda hard to see, but they are the 3 grey "rods" with a socket welded on the end for a knob. They are simply welded on to the stock part on the valve that the stock cable attaches to.
I used a small 3/4" sq tube welded on to the valve hardware, with the actual lever being a 1/2" square that slips inside, like a very small trailer receiver hitch. I did this just incase they might ever be in the way of some unforeseen reason. The hardest thing was figuring how to make them with clearance for the 3pt. lifting movement.

Nice, a couple of questions on the winch,,
What weight can it lift and how many gpm does it require to feed the winch?

It's a Ramsey winch, 8000 # line pull @ 1st layer of line and those ratings are at 2500 psi @ 17gpm.

Thank's, sounds like a Tow-Truck winch I use to have on my wrecker.
Imagine if your rear boom could swing left to right,
now imagine it having a bucket on the end, like mine, (backhoe),
thats what I was thinking on adding to it.
I do have 17 gpm flow so it just may be feasable.

I watched a guy with a backhoe pull wire through conduit with a 'hoe. He had an open spool "thing" bolted to one of his rear wheels. He'd lift that wheel off the ground, position his boom & run the pull line of the cable he was pulling through a pulley hanging off the bucket to guide everything, put it in gear…… looked like a winch to me! I thought it was clever.
I got my winch through AW Direct, a towing supplier.

I'm thinking something more along the line like you have...
The long arrow on the left shows aux lines for thumb, I could tap into those,
the base that would hold the winch would be mounted on a plate as shown....

Me and my crazy ideas...lol
