Kubota GL3540 HSTC
Hello from Nova Scotia, I hope its OK to ask advise on a first post but I need some expert advise on a new Kubota.

Started out 10 years ago with my first tractor, a B7500 and it was great. Upgraded 2 years ago to a B7800, also great. After a cold, snowy winter decided I need a cab. Local dealer is assembling my new GL3540 cab with LA724 loader with SS quick attach and 72 in. bucket, 2 rear remotes. Is $32000 Cdn. reasonable?

Help, I'm feeling guilty.:D

What does that convert to in US$ ? The website I did a conversion on puts that at 32900.00 US. I just bought L3940 HSTC-3 2 wks ago and the price from one size to another is usually around 2000.00 per size increase. A base GL3940 HSTC-3 tractor was around 31500.00 at that time. Adding the LA724 with bucket and remotes was about 5000.00. QA about 400.00. Deduct the 2000.00 for the size down and from a list price standpoint your are about 2000.00 below approximate MSRP. Does that price include window defrosters, rear windshield wiper and radio? If it does you are doing well if not than you are still okay. This does not take into consideration the new increases yet to be posted.

The Canadian dollar is very slightly above par at the moment (1.02 I think) so really no difference.

The price includes all the above. It really is more than I need but the price and what they allow for my trade made it, shall we say, irresistable. I'm getting spoiled in my old age.

I had the same thing for myself. I had a GL3540 HST-1 with LA724 and BH90 with R4's and 200 hrs but got so beat up this year by the snow blowing on an open station tractor that I decided to go ahead and do the trade. The deal I got from White's Tractor in NY was to good to pass up. And realistically it is more than I need as well. ;) Sounds similar to where you may be with your situation. With all that included you are doing well and I personally believe that not only will the cab make a huge difference in use the Cab models really hold their value well. Plus we are doing our part to stimulate the economy :)

Much to my surprise, I recently discovered I couldn't take my money with me, so I worry more about what will make my next few years easier and more enjoyable than saving a few bucks. The price sounds reasonable to me and you will LOVE the cab.

Hey milesaweigh, another Nova Scotianer here. What part of the province are you from?Last April I bought a Grand L 3240 from Nova International in Windsor. It has the 724 loader and the BH 90 backhoe but no cab.If I wanted zero percent interest the price was 36000 plus tax.The other option was 33500 plus tax at 6.9 percent interest which made the total paid back about the same.It is just whichever one makes you feel better.I am thinking your tractor and mine would be worth similar amounts as the backhoe is a 9500 option before tax.It seems to me that people in the US get better prices than us even though the currencies are close in value.Other things can add to the price as well such as quick attach bucket which was another 500 dollars.Hope this helps.

Thanks guys for your quick responses. Weird to find another Nova Scotian so soon.:) Even stranger that you deal with Nova International as mine is coming from their Alyesford store. It will be my third machine from them and they are great. I live on the Fundy shore north of Kentville and one of the reasons for going with the 3540 is to be able to put my boat in and out every year without needing to use my truck.(Dodge 1 ton dually 4WD crew cab).
Also snow removal, stump and tree removal and a bunch of other things too numerous to mention.

Its great to get input from people all over the continent, I guess I'm not alone when it comes to orange tractors.:D

I just bought a Grand L3540HSTC-3 about 2 moths ago and I got everything in my sig plus rear wiper kit, Rear working lights and a CD player for cab options, HD 72" QA round back bucket, loaded R4's.

Plus.... and I hate to admit this but I took a $1500 hit on my trade!

My total was $33,900 delivered, again that was with the Rear finish mower and the Box blade, the box blade was only $200 cause I traded my other one in!

I really appreciate the input you guys provide. Can anybody tell me what the total length of this thing will be with the la724 loader and bucket? I can't seem to find a total length.

I measured a new L3240 HST, which I believe is same size as L3540, yesterday at a dealer.

It had a LA514 loader with QA and 66" bucket.

It was 14' from bucket lip to 3 pt arm, give or take an inch or 2.

It was about 72" wide on the rear R4's.

Looked pretty enormous to me, in reference to my B7510.
