Just a re-cap first...
I went though the teething process like so many others, first getting the hitch that was too narrow, then getting the correct one, then setting up all of my equipment to be quick hitch compatible, then trading up to a larger tractor (from an L3240 to an L5740).
I've been using my hitch for everything and it has served me well. Perhaps it's a bit sloppy, perhaps it's not welded up as pretty as some of the higher priced hitches, perhaps the paint isn't as pretty but over all it has done everything I have asked of it.
But alas, I am either going to have to replace it or beef it up. It's rated for 45 HP and I have it on a 59 HP tractor. That in itself hasn't been a problem until just recently. What changed was the fact that I got a new blade, a Land Pride RBT3584 that is a heavy 7 footer. The blade can put tremendous side forces on the hitch and it broke my hitch. It didn't take well to making a bar ditch deeper.
Like I said, I can repair it but I am considering buying a better unit. I could go CATII but that would be a major undertaking to set my equipment up for CATII and some of it can't be changed unless I cut everything loose and rebuild the hitch. My KK tiller is one example.
I'm happy with the service I got from my hitch, It broke because I used it outside it's design limit and it worked well for a long time doing that.
I would recommend the hitch to others.
