I picked up a TLB 25 last week. I wasn't sure how much work it was capable of till I got it home. I'm amazed at the power and capacity it has.
I always have some prroject going on and need a backhoe for some clearing and footing work. I figured I would buy this and use it till I didn't need it then sell it. May end up keeping it around, it's pretty handy. Pics coming

Eddie, I don't know much about metrics, or any other math either, just know it's a bigger bucket than what I thought before I bought it. I took out a bunch of little sweet gums trees this afternoon. Didn't have anyone to take pics.
I got 7 acres, you got 70 so my backhoe only needs to be 10% as big as a 555, and my C-Farmall weighs 4,000lbs so that equates to 10% of your Dozer. I got this all figured out, must be getting better at math, huh. Later, Nat

Nat,

It's not the size of your equipment, but how you use it. hahahahaha

I think you picked up a neat toy! Is this a almost brand new one? I think it was 2003? that Allmand switched to the ESL design. Prior to that, Bradco made all of the backhoe units.

Specs. are almost identical but parts are probably not interchangeable.

Most of the other stuff is (COTS) commercial, off the shelf. Like the tie rod ends are made by TRW and also fit some car lines! Engine parts easy to get and a welder will fix almost anything else :)

Yes, size does matter. Big ones get the job done quickly, but little ones have to learn the art of finesse to overcome "obstacles" :) :)

Allmond is a great product. We recently switched our rental fleet out of the Teramite and into the Allmond. Let me know if you need any pricing, spec's, or other info.
