Today i drove a manual tranny of my friend his boomer
And after a few minutes i was missing my hydro
it was for FEL work in narrow places
at the begin it was funny to test the 12*12 but after a few minutes
but i think when you have never driven a hydro it would be no problem to use the manual

the hydro of the class III is a dream /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
when i change gear ==> only press the button and by my friend always clutching... you are quick tired /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
but he often pulls trailers of 6000 lbs so a manual will be much better in that case on hills... i think
but this isn't a need for me /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi i understand you point of view but i disagree /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I had a tc 45 d hydro and now a have a manual transmission and a few hours of practice and you will be happy without the hydro
a hydro has a lot of good points but also a lot of - points
but a good manual transmission is at a lot of point better
so if i lived in the usa i would buy a tc 48 da and no tc 45 da
it is only trying
