Nothing wrong with reselling for a profit, but sometimes when you see someone doing it you kick your self for not jumping on something first. Same Guy had bought a kubota l345 for $1500(advertise) and next day had it listed for $3500. At $1500 for the L345, (or less if he got them down a bit) I almost called the lady.

I realize the OP had picked the trailer up as part of a package deal, but I dislike the idea of taking something and trying to flip it for an overnight 50% markup (or greater) without adding anything to it.

Had he cleaned up the deck, repaired the rails, added fenders, added a tailgate, and repainted the whole thing, then resold it for $2K, that would have been something different. But, at this point, all he did was take new photos.

Welcome to the free market.
I know, it bothers me a little too sometimes, but there is no guarantee of profit. He is risking his investment in hopes of a profit.

Yep. I wasn't going to say anything, but as long as I wasn't first. :laughing: If your old Uncle Louie leaves you his mansion in his will, should you just give it away to a buyer to be "fair"? I know, that's a stretch, but you get my meaning.

Something is "worth" what someone else will pay for it, when a buyer is not under duress to buy. (just to cover storm "gouging", etc)
