If the price and shipping cost is competitive I absolutely would.
I have the prime membership and we buy a lot from them that would otherwise be a 30 mile trip to the larger shopping areas.

How does Amazon differ from e-bay? They are both large on-line retailers peddling stuff around the world.

Ebay doesn't sell stuff, they sell advertising space and financial services.

Streaming video on demand, "free" 2 day shipping for items sold by (or shipped by) Amazon, lower prices on some items.

I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon. For me, being a very new tractor user, I like going to the dealer for help and advise. Plus it keeps money in the local economy (in my theory at least).

I did by my last big power tool from Amazon (14" band saw).

I looked at the Howse Box Blade #ATVEB48-R.

Amazon wants $299.99 plus $114.48 shipping. They clearly say the product will be shipped by Northern Tool.

I went to the Northern Tool website. They want $299.99 plus $105.28 shipping. Plus, you get a $25 gift card for making the purchase. So, in this case, I'd order directly from Northern Tool.

My guess is Northern Tool makes more money if you buy directly from them. They use Amazon simply because lots and lots of people go to Amazon to comparison shop products and they probably will get more business being in Amazon's mix vs. not being there. I am also guessing Amazon charges quite a bit for this access. They are big and worth billions in stock price.

I like Amazon due to the speed, reliability & easy searching of their site. I tend to buy a most stuff from them these days with the free Amazon Prime 2 day shipping. Somehow I don't think tractor implements would fit under the Amazon Prime program though (unless you go the often used Ebay route & just jack up the prices more than shipping could be & claim free shipping).

One of my biggest annoyances searching for tractor stuff is prices aren't posted. A lot of dealers advertise the brands & types of equipment they sell, some actually list out particular models of stuff, few actually have prices posted for the stuff. For me, one of the draws of everythingattachments is I can go browse their site & it's trivial to figure out what they sell, a good amount of details about it & how much it will cost. I get annoyed if I have to call up the dealer for every little thing, I don't want to have to do that when I'm researching or dreaming. Direct dealer contact has it's value, but I like other options as well.

I like being able to research the snot out of stuff I may or may not end up buying. Amazon might be able to facilitate that a bit more.
