One more question. Did you have to drill thru the brace you which you bolted it? )</font>

Yep, I sure did. It was quite a job too. Good thing I had sharp bits and a powerful drill. I figured there was enough steel there to handle a pair of 5/16" holes.

That would be me. (the guy who mounted the boxes onto the FEL frame mount)
I got the ammo boxes from a local surplus joint.
Same ones on your ebay listing. They are good boxes.
I have had them for a year now and no problems.
One thing nice it they will never rust and they are relativly quiet when putting the chain in - no metal to metal noise.

Glad to see you're here two. I thought it was a great idea when I saw it.

Dave that's a great looking multi-use box you have there. Looks like a good sturdy way to mount it too. It might even make a good place to stash your lunch if your headed out to the field to do a days work and don't want to come back for lunch.

If I had one like that I could fill it with my lunch and still have room for a few tools.

I don't eat much, lets see I might pack 2 Big Mac's, 1 fillet-o-fish sandwich, 2 large order of fries, 2 Snickers candy bars, a bag of chips for when I get real hungry later in the day, and a thermos of Gatorade. Oops, almost forgot the screwdriver, I can still squeeze that in there too. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

In all seriousness I do like the toolbox guys.
