Another Hanbuilt cab for my 1050 4x4 John Deere

Many years ago I had a John Deere 1050 4x4 Tractor. I could not afford to buy a cab so i decided to build one of my own. I used 1/8 inch steel to minimize the rattles. I had a glass shop install the windows. I tried not to get the boxy look and I even put a nice light package overhead. It was a blast to build and many people thought it looked great for home made.

I also built the rear blade , the front blade and the landscape rake. I did buy the spring teeth but made everything else. I have puttered in a little one car garage size crude shop my whole life. I just love to weld and create things with metal.

Excellent work! I'd love to build somethin like that for my kubota. My fab skills aren't there yet though!

That is a GREAT looking cab sure does not look home made that is for sure. The rock rake looks like a "10" also very nice. :thumbsup:
