Any Chinese 2 Wheel tractor in the US?

Is anyone importing Chinese 2 wheel tractors to the US? I'd love to have a BCS but can't justify it for a "vegetable garden". But the Chinese have a lot of 2 wheel tractor designs. Someone must be importing them (if the engines can pass EPA).

They look like interesting machines to me also, and they're diesel. Compared to BCS, they are crude looking machines, still like to have one.

I like this one MX181 walking tractor - WALKING TRACTOR / CULTIVATOR - Product Catalog - Linshu Mingsin Machinery Co., Ltd. because of its high road speed and can be had with 22hp engine. I don't know how to import for myself, might be risky for the unexperienced.

I have imported a chinese tractor and implements by myself. Itï½´s not more risky then to buy at ebay.

the problem could be the transport, cause in europe you can reach a seaport within a few hours, ok..maybe from Kentucky to virginian Port is a longer term to get there.

Best you ask the cif (cost insurance freigth) price. They will send the goods to a port after your requirements. you can pick up the cases by yourself or a forwarder will do it for You.

You will be informed, when the goods arrived at the port of destination.

Biggest thing here in the states is to make certain beyond any doubt they will allow the item into the country. I have seen many on the board say many of these engines do not meet EPA standards. Any importers want to chime in??? and let us know if this is so??

This is my fear as well. Also, in general, I prefer to buy from Dealers.

Who is checking, that the engine meets the epa standards? Customs or is there anyone else??

We have Euro 4 standard here, but noone asks if the JD 290 engine of the Xingtai has this pollution standard. It could give a problem, if I need a road registration, or if I will import them in larger numbers, but at the moment noone asks about.

You are right with Your statement, to buy at the dealer is the best business. They care for warranty, repair and spareparts, if needed.

Here the chinese tractors are expensive, I do not want to know, how much % they add to the price they have paid at the factory as their profit. Dealers network is poor, for Kubota and Iseki, too.

I would think the price of the machine when taken from the site would be reasonable but add on all the costs involved getting it here and then through all the red tape and then the dealer needs to put his cut on so he can keep the lights on,, and you probably getting close to the price of a more refined European machine?

The european machines in that size are awfully expensive. I had to pay nearly 10.000 US$, if I would buy a machine with 13 hp Diesel.

For real I am not sure if the chinese will appear here again, onliest marketing for them should have been ebay, but know, ou will not find them there or anywhere else in the net.

Like I have said, used ones are offered, you only have to search for. If you will find some in an advertisement in newspaper, which is very common here, you have to hurry, if you wonna buy it. They are sold in a hurry.

I was thinking about buying one of these smaller tillers, which can be equipped with tires instead of the knives (tools) and offer them with plow and trailer.

Such a tiller has Honda clone engine, gasoline and price is appr. 200 US$ fob.
