Anyone converted Tier4 Side Exhaust on 5K M series to a Vertical upright exhaust ?

I see the vertical parts piece by piece would be well over a grand $$ IF the brackets & stack would bolt to the existing muffler / filter burner deal.

I’m hopefully selling my 5085E & rescuing a gently used 5115M with side exhaust.

Do you guys know about this ??

I know it’d be cheaper to find someone to swap with but that could take a while & possibly few states away.

Anybody have any info ?

I looked at a buddy’s 5090M with vertical exhaust & the green exhaust box looks the same.

I’m just not sure if the vertical stack pipe will bolt on to the side exh muffler assembly that’s housed inside the green box ?

I got the 5085E sold & rescued the 261hr 5115M 32spd with Creeper Gear today :cool2:

Took the canopy & black fender flares OFF yesterday.

Gotta buy a new Global Carrier to replace the skid steer one.

Got my weighted & Fluid Filled Widened R4’s on too.

I’ve searched everywhere I know for the vertical exhaust conversion post that RalphVa spoke of & I can not find it.

Is it on a different forum ?

Nice looking 5115, I'm currently somewhat shopping for a 5115m low HR or possibly new and think the side exhaust is what I would want. Glad you posted your picture of one as I've never seen one and wasn't sure it would be compatible with a loader but looks like it is. I'm not sure what's involved in swapping them out but am very interested in what you find out. Very very seldom have I seen the side exhaust, always corner post vertical. One question I have is are they as quiet as the vertical? Or any other drawbacks? Thanks,B

I’ll be ok with it IF it doesn’t blow feathers in my poultry houses while I’m caking, cutting, tilling or pulverizing chicken litter floor.

It’s nice & quiet

I like it down there out of the way but it is ugly to me :laughing:

I won’t know until 5wks from now but I’ll report back.
