Anyone have a United Steel Works toothbar?

I have that exact model in 60", six tooth. I bought it in 2007. It has been incredibly useful and goes on and off easily. Installation was pretty easy, you just have to drill a 5/8" hole in each side of the bucket. I used a step bit from Harbor Freight which did it in a few seconds. I put two nuts on each bolt to protect the threads because they are exposed and if they get messed up it becomes a chore to take them off.

The one drawback I've noticed is that it makes the overall length of the tractor about 6" more and it's amazing how often that extra half foot makes the difference between missing something and destroying it. Also the teeth have an uncanny knack for finding my shins.

So far it looks pretty solid. Price is under $250 too. Anyone else have one?

Tooth bar does great breaking up the earth. I think you'll like it. You'll have to watch it when using the leveling gauge to level the bucket. The tooth bar throws the level gauge off some

Scotty, have you had time to develop an opinion on that tooth bar? I am getting ready to order one myself.

Also, does it depend upon the cutting edge of the bucket at all? The edge of my bucket is in fairly good shape but it does have some wear, 1/4 in most places, 1/2 in a couple.

I have used it quite a bit. Works great and pretty tough. When you order he will ask you for the measurements of your loader and the thickness of your cutting edge. You should ask your qeustions before ordering. It took about two weeks from order to delivery. He does offer a best offer price. I think he accepted $255 for the 60 inch toothbar
